1. Purpose of this disclosure
This page explains, plainly, what ThoughtPredict currently is and isn't, and the risks and uncertainties around what it may become. Please read it alongside our Terms of Service.
2. ThoughtPredict is currently play-money only
Everything on the platform today runs on Insight Coins, a virtual currency with no cash value. Insight Coins cannot be purchased with real money, and cannot be redeemed, cashed out, exchanged, or transferred for real currency or cryptocurrency, under any circumstances, today.
3. This is not gambling, trading, or investing — today
ThoughtPredict does not currently offer real-money wagering, trading, or investment products of any kind. Nothing you do on the platform today risks real money.
4. Future features are plans, not promises
Our public Roadmap describes possible future phases, including real-money markets and a utility/governance token. These are conditional on completing legal and regulatory review that has not yet occurred, are not guaranteed to launch on any timeline (or at all), and if they do launch, will only be available in jurisdictions where it is lawful to offer them. Nothing on our site, in our whitepaper, or in any communication from us is a commitment that these features will exist.
5. No investment advice
Nothing on ThoughtPredict — including market questions, prices, percentages, or any other content — constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Prices shown on mock or play-money markets reflect play-money activity only and are not indicative of real-world financial value.
6. No offer of securities
Nothing on our site or in our whitepaper is an offer or solicitation to buy or sell any security, token, or investment. Any future token would be intended as a utility/governance instrument, not an investment product, and its existence, design, and availability are not guaranteed.
7. Rewards are promotional, not contractual
Early-access tier rewards, Insight Coins balances, referral bonuses, and any referenced future benefits (such as fee discounts or airdrop weighting) are promotional in nature. We may modify, pause, or discontinue them at any time, including before any future feature they reference actually launches.
8. Regulatory risk
Real-money prediction markets are regulated financial products in most jurisdictions, including the United States. If and when we pursue real-money markets, our ability to launch — and where — will depend entirely on the outcome of that regulatory process, which is outside our control and not guaranteed to succeed.
9. Eligibility
You must be 18 or older to use ThoughtPredict. Availability of any current or future feature may be further restricted by your jurisdiction.
